MATOC IDIQ Cultural Resource Services for Hoosier & Shawnee National Forests Contract No. 12444523D0002


This IDIQ contract covers technical services related to cultural resource inventory on National Forest System lands. The work is expected to be located in the following nine-county area in southern Indiana: Brown, Crawford, Dubois, Jackson, Lawrence, Martin, Monroe, Orange, and Perry; and in the following ten-county area in southern Illinois: Alexander, Gallatin, Hardin, Jackson, Johnson, Massac, Pope, Saline, Union, Williamson. Contract objectives include:

  • Locate and identify all cultural resources judged to be at least 50 years old
  • Provide a complete cultural resource inventory of the area
  • Make a preliminary evaluation of the significance of identified historic properties according to the National Register of Historic Places eligibility criteria
  • Prepare cultural resource reports and all necessary exhibits
  • Conduct cursory field reconnaissance, formal site evaluations, and other types of cultural resource research and investigations
