BCE provided comprehensive bridge inspection services across multiple states and National Forest locations, successfully completing 78 routine road bridge inspections, 16 NSTM (Fracture Critical) inspections, 7 nondestructive testing (NDT) pin inspections, and 3 trail bridge evaluations. The BCE inspection team managed all logistical aspects, including traffic control coordination, access equipment deployment, and collaboration with fire command and forest personnel to secure safe entry routes throughout the project area. Originally scoped for the Olympic and Gifford Pinchot National Forests, the project expanded to include additional structures on the Fremont-Winema National Forest at the request of the U.S. Forest Service. NSTM and NDT inspections were performed using a contracted inspection truck and spanned facilities in the Willamette, Umpqua, Rogue River-Siskiyou, Siuslaw, and Wallowa-Whitman National Forests. Fieldwork for all but two bridges was completed within three months of receiving the notice to proceed, and BCE finalized all inspection reporting within six months. This project demonstrates BCE’s capacity to deliver high-volume inspection work efficiently across diverse environments while maintaining rigorous safety and quality standards.
