Structural Engineering
BCE performed a comprehensive maintenance and condition assessment of multiple self-supported tower structures at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida, following the impact of Hurricane Michael. The towers, ranging from 70 to 485 feet in height, were evaluated for structural integrity and potential storm related damage. The assessment covered all critical components, including structural finishes, obstruction lighting systems, ground and antenna systems, exposed concrete foundations, guy wires and anchors, and plumb and tension measurements. Within just 30 days of completing the inspections, a detailed report outlining recommended repairs and maintenance actions was delivered.
